Shakib Al Hasan became the second Bangladesh batsman to reach 6000 ODI runs after Tamim Iqbal. Shakib Al Hasan's 124* was his second highest score for Bangladesh in One-day international, also the second highest-score by an Bangladesh batsman against West Indies in ODIs after Tamim Iqbal's 130 and also the second-highest-score by an Bangladesh batsman in World Cups after Mahmudullah's unbeaten 128.
