England captain Eoin Morgan produced a brutal power-hitting batting performance to smashed a career-best 148-runs off facing 71-balls including 17-sixes and 4-fours with strike rate of 208.45 helped to England set up the record total of 397 against Afghanistan in the 24th match of a World Cup.
* Eoin Morgan hammered a 57-ball fourth fastest century in World Cup and the fifth fastest hundred by an England batsman in ODIs.
* Eoin Morgan's 148 was his highest score for England in One-day international, It is the highest-score by an England batsman against Afghanistan in ODIs and the third highest score by an England batsman in World Cups.
* Eoin Morgan became the first England batsman to score a hundred against Afghanistan in One-day international cricket history.
17 : Eoin Morgan hit the world record for most sixes in an innings in One-day International cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 16-sixes jointly hit by Rohit Sharma, AB de Villiers and Shane Watson.
