Glenn Maxwell hit 40 off 51-balls including 5-fours, Marcus Stoinis scored 37 off 53-balls included 6-fours, Alex Carey hit a unbeaten 36 off 37-balls contained 5-fours.
Nathan Coulter-Nile hit 28 off 27-balls contained three-fours and debutant Ashton Turner, who scored 21 off 23-balls on his debut one-day international match.
India best bowler by Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah each took two wickets from their 10-overs spell and one wicket for Kedar Jadhav.
India chased 240-4 in 48.2 overs with top scorer by Kedar Jadhav hit a unbeaten 81 off 87-balls, MS Dhoni cracked a unbeaten 59 off 72-balls included 6-fours & a six.
Virat Kohli hit 44 off 45-balls including 6-fours & a six and Rohit Sharma scored 37 off 66-balls included 5-fours.
Australia best bowler by Nathan Coulter-Nile and Adam Zampa both took two wickets.
Kedar Jadhav named Payer of the match for his match-winning superb unbeaten 81 off facing 88-balls included 9 fours and a six.
