Tim Southee's record-breaking six-for after Half-centuries from Henry Nicholls, Ross Taylor and Tom Latham helped to New Zealand crushing 88-run victory over Bangladesh, despite a maiden century from Sabbir Rahman and clinch the three-match series 3-0 whitewash in the third ODI.

  • This is the 12th time New Zealand have whitewashed their oppositions in a bilateral three-match series in One-day international and their fifth against Bangladesh in ODIs.

  • New Zealand's 330 was their fifth highest score against Bangladesh in One-day internationals.
  • Tim Southee's 6 for 65 was his second best bowling performance for New Zealand in One-day international and the best bowling figures by an New Zealand bowler against Bangladesh in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 5 for 7 held by Daniel Vettori at Queenstown in 2007.
  • 101 : Sabbir Rahman and Mohammad Saifuddin set up the record sixth-wicket partnership for Bangladesh against New Zealand in One-day international, previously held by the 78-run stand between Mahmudullah and Sabbir Rahman at Hamilton in the 2015 World Cup and Bangladesh's seventh highest sixth-wicket stand in ODIs.

New Zealand scored massive total of 330-6 in 50-overs with top scorer by Ross Taylor struck 69 off 82-balls including 7-fours.

Henry Nicholls hit 64 off 67-balls including 7-fours, Tom Latham hammered a 59 off 51-balls included 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 115.69.

James Neesham hammered a 37 off 24-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 154.17, Colin de Grandhomme blasted a unbeaten 37 off 15-balls included 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 246.67, Martin Guptill scored 29 off 40-balls with 3-fours & a six and Mitchell Santner 16 not out.

Bangladesh best bowler by Mustafizur Rahman took 2-wickets, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mohammad Saifuddin, Mashrafe Mortaza and Rubel Hossain each took one wickets.

Bangladesh scored 242 for all-out in 47.2 overs with top scorer by Sabbir Rahman 102 - which was his 1st ODI hundred.

Mohammad Saifuddin scored 44 off 63-balls including 4-fours, Mehidy Hasan Miraz hit 37 off 34-balls included 7-fours, Mushfiqur Rahim 17 and Mahmudullah 16.

New Zealand best bowler by Tim Southee 6-65, Trent Boult took 2-wickets and one for Colin de Grandhomme.

Tim Southee named Player of the match for his pace bowling attack to claimed a 6-wicket haul for 65-runs in 9.2 overs with a maiden.

Martin Guptill earned player of the series for contributing 264-runs including two centuries with average of 132 in the 3-match ODI series.
