Imrul Kayes' career-best 144 and Mohammad Saifuddin's fifty gives Bangladesh comfortable 28-run victory over Zimbabwe and take a 1-0 lead in the first One-day international.
Bangladesh scored 271-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Imrul Kayes, who scored career-best 144-runs and his 4th ODI hundred. Mohammad Saifuddin scored 50, Mohammad Mithun 37 and Mushfiqur Rahim 15.
Imrul Kayes and Mohammad Saifuddin set up the record 127-run stand for 7th wicket partnership against Zimbabwe in ODI's.
Zimbabwe best bowler by Kyle Jarvis claimed 4-wicket haul for 37-runs, Tendai Chatara picked up three wickets for 55-runs and Brandon Mavuta took one wicket.
Zimbabwe scored 243-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Sean Williams 50 not out, Kyle Jarvis 37, Cephas Zhuwao 35, Peter Moor 26 and Craig Ervine 24.
Bangladesh best bowler by Mehidy Hasan Miraz picked up three wickets for 46-runs, Nazmul Islam two for 38, Mahmudullah and Mustafizur Rahman each took one wickets.
Imrul Kayes named Player of the match for his sparkling Knock of 144-runs facing 140-balls including thirteen 4s and six 6s.
