India best bowler by Bhuvneshwar Kumar claimed a 4-wickets for 45-runs in 10-overs, Mohammed Shami picked up 3-wickets and one for Ravindra Jadeja.
India chased 299-4 in 49.2 overs with top scorer by Virat Kohli 104 - which was his 39th ODI hundred, his sixth century against Australia in ODIs and his 24th ODI hundred in a run-chasing.
MS Dhoni scored a unbeaten 55 off 54-balls including 2-sixes, Rohit Sharma struck 43 off 52-balls included two-sixes & 2-fours.
Shikhar Dhawan cracked a 32 off 28-balls including 5-fours, Dinesh Karthik 25 not out and Ambati Rayudu 24.
