Trent Boult's hat-trick after Half-centuries from Ross Taylor and Tom Latham helped to New Zealand emphatic 47-run victory over Pakistan and take a 1-0 lead in the first ODI.

New Zealand scored 266-9 in 50-overs with top scorer by Ross Taylor struck 80 off 112-balls including five boundaries.

Tom Latham cracked a 68 off 64-balls including 5-fours, Colin Munro scored 29 off 27-balls included five-fours, Kane Williamson 27, Ish Sodhi 24 and Tim Southee 20.

Pakistan best bowler by Shaheen Shah Afridi - Shadab Khan each claimed four-wickets haul and one for Imad Wasim.

Pakistan 8-3 to scored 219 for all-out in 47.2 overs with top scorer by Sarfraz Ahmed struck 64 off 69-balls including 7-fours, Imad Wasim cracked a 50 off 72-balls included 2-sixes.

Imam-ul-Haq scored 34 off 46-balls including 3-fours, Shoaib Malik hit 30 off 50-balls included three-fours and Hasan Ali 16.

New Zealand best bowler by Trent Boult 3-54, Lockie Ferguson picked up 3-wickets for 36-runs in 9.2-overs, Colin de Grandhomme took 2-wickets and one for Tim Southee - Ish Sodhi.
