Bangladesh's 261 was their fourth highest score against Sri Lanka in One-day internationals. Sri Lanka's 124 was their lowest score ever in the completed innings against Bangladesh in One-day international, previous lowest total was 147 at Dhaka in 2009. 131 : Mushfiqur Rahim and Mohammad Mithun set up the record third-wicket partnership for Bangladesh against Sri Lanka in One-day international, previously held by the 57-run stand between Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan at Dhaka in this year and Bangladesh's ninth highest third-wicket stand in ODIs.

Bangladesh scored 261 for all-out in 49.3 overs with top scorer by Mushfiqur Rahim 144 - which was his 6th ODI hundred and his first century against Sri Lanka in ODIs.

Bangladesh best bowler by Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mustafizur Rahman, Mashrafe Mortaza each took 2-wickets and one for Mosaddek Hossain - Rubel Hossain - Shakib Al Hasan.

Mushfiqur Rahim named Player of the match for record-breaking batting performance to smashed a career-best 144-runs knocked off facing 150-balls including 11-fours and 6-sixes.
