Oshada Fernando's record-breaking debut fifty before Wanindu Hasaranga and Lahiru Kumara's combined 5-wickets helped to Sri Lanka narrow 13-run victory over Pakistan, despite a record 76-run stand for the second-wicket between Babar Azam - Haris Sohail and clinch the their historic first-ever three-match series 3-0 whitewash in a tight-game of the third T20I.

Sri Lanka's 13-run win was their eighth smallest victory by terms of runs in T20 international and It is their narrowest win against Pakistan in T20Is, previous smallest win by 16-runs at Colombo (RPS) in the 2012 World Twenty20. Oshada Fernando became the first Sri Lankan batsman to score a fifty on debut match in T20 international cricket history. Oshada Fernando's unbeaten 78 was the highest score by an Sri Lankan batsman on debut match in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of unbeaten 46 held by Jehan Mubarak against Kenya at Johannesburg in the inaugural 2007 World Twenty20 and the joint seventh highest-score by a debutant batsman in T20Is, jointly with Rilee Rossouw and Dawid Malan. This is the first time Sri Lanka have whitewashed their oppositions in a bilateral three-match series in T20 internationals. This is the first time Pakistan have suffered a clean sweep in a bilateral three-match series in T20 internationals. Sri Lanka's 147 was their eighth highest score against Pakistan in T20 internationals. Pakistan's 134 was their second lowest score at their home venue in T20 internationals. 76 : Babar Azam and Haris Sohail set up the record second-wicket partnership for Pakistan against Sri Lanka in T20 internationals, previously held by the 57-run stand between Sharjeel Khan and Mohammad Hafeez at Dubai in 2013.

Sri Lanka scored 147-7 in 20-overs with top scorer by debutant Oshada Fernando - who scored a unbeaten 78 off 48-balls on his debut T20I match - including 8-fours and 3-sixes with strike rate of 162.50.

Pakistan best bowler by Mohammad Amir picked up 3-wickets, Imad Wasim and Wahab Riaz both took one-wickets.

Pakistan scored 134-6 in 20-overs with top scorer by Haris Sohail struck 52 off 50-balls including 4-fours & a six, Babar Azam 27, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Iftikhar Ahmed both scored 17.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Wanindu Hasaranga 3-21, Lahiru Kumara took two-wickets and one for Kasun Rajitha.

Wanindu Hasaranga named Player of the match for his spin bowling attack to picked up 3-wickets for 21-runs in 4-overs.
