Bangladesh's 163-run win was their largest victory by terms of runs in One-day internationals, previous biggest win by 160-runs against West Indies at Khulna in 2012. Bangladesh's 320 was their fifth highest score in One-day international and it is their second highest total against Sri Lanka in ODIs. 99 : Tamim Iqbal and Shakib Al Hasan set up the record second-wicket partnership for Bangladesh against Sri Lanka in One-day international, previously held by the 90-run stand between Tamim Iqbal and Sabbir Rahman at Dambulla in the last year. 71 : Tamim Iqbal and Anamul Haque set up the fourth highest first-wicket partnership for Bangladesh against Sri Lanka in One-day internationals. 57 : Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim set up the record third-wicket partnership for Bangladesh against Sri Lanka in One-day internationals, previously jointly held by the 46-run stand between (Javed Omar and Mohammad Ashraful at Bogra in 2006) and Mominul Haque and Mushfiqur Rahim at same venue in 2014). Sri Lanka's 157 was their second lowest score in the completed innings against Bangladesh in One-day internationals.

Bangladesh scored massive total of 320-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Tamim Iqbal struck 84 off 102-balls including 7-fours & 2-sixes, Shakib Al Hasan 67.

Mushfiqur Rahim hammered a 62 off 52-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 119.23, Anamul Haque scored 35 off 37-balls included 3-fours & a six.

Sabbir Rahman blasted a 24 off 12-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 200 and Mahmudullah scored 24 off 23-balls included 2-fours & a six.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Thisara Perera picked up 3-wickets, Nuwan Pradeep took 2-wickets and one for Asela Gunaratne and Akila Dananjay.

Sri Lanka scored 157 for all-out in 32.2 overs with top scorer by Thisara Perera hammered a 29 off 14-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 207.14, Dinesh Chandimal 28, Upul Tharanga 25, Kusal Mendis 19 and Niroshan Dickwella 16.

Bangladesh best bowler by Shakib Al Hasan 3-47, Rubel Hossain, Mashrafe Mortaza both took 2-wickets and one for Mustafizur Rahman and Nasir Hossain.

Shakib Al Hasan named player of the match for his another all-round performance to picked up 3-wickets for 47-runs in 8-overs including a maiden after scoring a brilliant 67 off 63-balls including 7-fours.
