Deepak Chahar record-breaking 6 for 7 including a hat-trick after KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer's fifties helped to India crushing 30-run victory over Bangladesh, despite a Mohammad Naim's quick-fire 48-ball 81 and clinch the three-match series with 2-1 in a historic game of third & final T20I.

Match Stats :
  • India's 30-run win was their second largest victory by terms of runs against Bangladesh in T20Is after their 45-run win at Mirpur in 2016.
  • India's 174 was their third highest score against Bangladesh in T20 international and It is their second highest total at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Jamtha, Nagpur in ODIs after their 186 in 2009.
  • Deepak Chahar's 6 for 7 was the best bowling figures in T20 international cricket history, breaks the Ajantha Mendis' 6 for 8 against Zimbabwe at Hambantota in 2012.
  • Deepak Chahar became the first Indian bowler to claimed a hat-trick in T20 international cricket history and overall the 11th player in T20Is.
  • 59 : KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer set up the second highest third-wicket partnership for India against Bangladesh in T20Is, The highest is 68-run stand between Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina at Colombo (RPS) in the last year.
  • Mohammad Naim's 81 was the joint fifth highest score for Bangladesh in T20 international and the highest-score by an Bangladesh batsman against India in T20Is, surpassing the previous record of 77 held by Sabbir Rahman at Colombo (RPS) in the last year.
  • 98 : Mohammad Naim and Mohammad Mithun  set up the record third-wicket partnership for Bangladesh against India in T20 international, previously held by the 60-run stand between Soumya Sarkar and Mushfiqur Rahim at Delhi in 2019 and also the Bangladesh's highest any-wicket stand against India in T20Is, previously held by the 65-run stand between Mushfiqur Rahim and Sabbir Rahman at Colombo (RPS) in 2018.

India scored 174-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Shreyas Iyer blasted a 62 off 33-balls including 5-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 187.87.

KL Rahul hammered a 52 off 35-balls including seven boundaries, Manish Pandey 22 not out and Shikhar Dhawan 19.

Bangladesh best bowler by Soumya Sarkar, Shafiul Islam both took two-wickets and one for Al-Amin Hossain.

Bangladesh scored 144 for all-out in 19.2 overs with top scorer by Mohammad Naim blasted a 81-runs off 48-balls including 10-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 168.75 and Mohammad Mithun scored 27.

India best bowler by Deepak Chahar 6-4, Shivam Dube picked up 3-wickets and one for Yuzvendra Chahal.

Deepak Chahar named Player of the match his record-breaking bowling performance to claimed a career-best 6-wicket haul for 7-runs in 3.2 overs.

Deepak Chahar earned player of the series for his excellent bowling attack to claimed 8-wickets in the three-match T20I series.
