Bowlers attack before Half-centuries from Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli led to India comfortable eight-wicket victory over South Africa and book the semi-final spot in a low-scoring game of the 11th match of a Champions Trophy.


* South Africa lost their last eight wickets for just 51-runs - which was their joint fourth worst eight-wicket collapse in One-day international, it is their worst 8-wicket collapse against India in ODIs and the third worst eighth-wicket collapse in Champions Trophy. They went from 140 for 2 to 191 for all out.

* 128 : Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli set up the seventh highest second-wicket partnership for India against South Africa in One-day international and India's third highest second-wicket stand in Champions Trophy.

South Africa scored 191 for all-out in 44.3 overs with top scorer by Quinton de Kock struck 53 off 72-balls including four boundaries.

Faf du Plessis scored 36 off 50-balls including a boundary, Hashim Amla hit 35 off 54-balls included 3-fours & a six, JP Duminy 20 not out and AB de Villiers 16.

India best bowler by Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah both takes 2-wickets, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin and Hardik Pandya each took one-wickets.

India chased 193-2 in 38 overs with top scorer by Shikhar Dhawan struck 78 off 83-balls including 12 fours & a six.

Virat Kohli scored a unbeaten 76 off 101-balls including 7-fours & a six, Yuvraj Singh 23 not out.

South Africa best bowler by Imran Tahir and Morne Morkel both took one-wickets.

Jasprit Bumrah named player of the match for his brilliant economical bowling performance to took two important wickets for 28-runs in 8-overs.
