Sensational Rohit Sharma's rampaging 3rd double-hundred and Shreyas Iyer's 88 sets up to India massive 141-run victory over Sri Lanka, despite a brilliant century from Angelo Mathews and level the series with 1-1 in a historic game of the second ODI.

  • India became the first team to score 100th 300-plus scores in One-day international cricket history and it is their 21st 300+ total against Sri Lanka in ODIs.

  • 106 : Nuwan Pradeep became the third most runs conceded without a wicket by a bowler in One-day international and the most runs conceded without a wicket by any bowler against India in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 105 held by Tim Southee at Christchurch in 2009.

India scored mammoth total of 392-4 in 50 overs with top scorer by Rohit Sharma 208 - which was his 16th ODI hundred and his 3rd double-century in One-day International cricket history.

Shreyas Iyer struck 88 off 70-balls including 9-fours & 2-sixes and Shikhar Dhawan scored 68 off 67-balls included nine boundaries.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Thisara Perera claimed three-wickets for 80-runs from 8-overs and Sachith Pathirana took one wicket.

Sri Lanka scored 251-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Angelo Mathews 111 off 132-balls - which was his 2nd ODI hundred and also his second century against India in ODIs - including 9-fours and 3-sixes. 

Asela Gunaratne cracked a 34 off 30-balls including 5-fours, Niroshan Dickwella scored 22 off 20-balls included 4-fours, Lahiru Thirimanne 21 and Danushka Gunathilaka 16.

India best bowler by Yuzvendra Chahal picked up 3-wickets, Jasprit Bumrah takes 2-wickets, Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar both took one-wickets and debutant Washington Sundar - who took one-wicket on his debut ODI match.

Rohit Sharma named Player of the match for his sensational batting performance to scored a unbeaten 208-runs knocked off 153-balls including 13-fours and 12-sixes with strike rate of 135.94.
