Stunning centuries from Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma sets up to India massive 168-run victory over Sri Lanka and go up 4-0 lead in a one-sided game of the fourth ODI.

  • India's 168-run win was their tenth largest victory by terms of runs in One-day international and it is their third biggest victory against Sri Lanka in ODIs.
  • Sri Lanka's 168-run defeat was their ninth worst by margin of runs in ODIs.
  • India's 375 was their third highest score against Sri Lanka in One-day international and the third highest total in Sri Lanka in ODIs.
  • 219 : Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli set up the sixth highest second-wicket partnership for India in One-day international and India's third highest second-wicket stand against Sri Lanka in ODIs.
  • Sri Lanka's 207 was their third lowest score against India in the completed innings at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo in One-day internationals.
  • Lasith Malinga captained Sri Lanka for the first time in his 203rd match. He became the 21st player to captain for Sri Lanka in One-day internationals.

India scored mammoth total of 375-5 in 50 overs with top scorer by Virat Kohli 131 - which was his 29th ODI hundred.

Rohit Sharma 104 off 88-balls - which was his 13th ODI hundred and his second century in the series including - 11-fours and 3-sixes with strike rate of 118.18.

Manish Pandey scored a unbeaten 50 off 42-balls including 4-fours with strike rate of 119.05, MS Dhoni cracked a unbeaten 49 off 42-balls included 5-fours & a six with strike-rate of 116.16 and Hardik Pandya 19.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Angelo Mathews took two-wickets, Akila Dananjay, Vishwa Fernando and Lasith Malinga each took one-wickets.

Sri Lanka scored 207 for all-out in 42.4 overs with top scorer by Angelo Mathews struck 70 off 80-balls including 10 boundaries.

Milinda Siriwardana scored 39 off 43-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes, Wanindu Hasaranga 22 and Lahiru Thirimanne 18.

India best bowler by Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya each took 2-wickets, Axar Patel takes 1-wicket and Debutant Shardul Thakur - who took one-wicket on his debut ODI match.

Virat Kohli named Player of the match for his quick-fire 131-runs knocked off facing 96-balls including 17-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 136.45.
