JP Duminy's quick-fire fifty after a four-wicket hauls from Tabraiz Shamsi and Kagiso Rabada helped to South Africa 5-wicket victory over Sri Lanka and wrap up 1-0 lead in the first ODI.
Sri Lanka were 36-4 to scored 193 for all-out in 34.3 overs with top scorer by Kusal Perera 81, Thisara Perera 49, Akila Dananjay 11 and Upul Tharanga 10.
South Africa best bowler by Tabraiz Shamsi 4-33, Kagiso Rabada claimed 4-wicket haul for 41-runs in 8-overs and Lungi Ngidi took one-wicket.
South Africa chased 196-5 in 31-overs with top scorer by JP Duminy unbeaten 53 off 32-balls including 6-fours and two-sixes with strike rate of 165.62.
Faf du Plessis scored 47 off 56-balls including 10-fours, Quinton de Kock cracked a 47 off 59-balls included 4-fours & a six and Hashim Amla 19.
Sri Lanka best bowler by Akila Dananjay picked up 3-wickets for 50-runs in 10-overs, Suranga Lakmal and Lakshan Sandakan both took one-wickets.
