Alex Hales' record-breaking 171, Jos Buttler's 51-ball 90*, Joe Root's 85 and Eoin Morgan's blazing half-century sets up to England massive 169-run victory over Pakistan, despite a record-breaking half-century from No.11 batsman Mohammad Amir and took an unassailable 3-0 lead to seal the series in a historic game of the third ODI.

  • England's 169-run win was their fifth largest victory by terms of runs in One-day international and it is their second biggest victory against Pakistan in ODIs.
  • Pakistan's 169-run defeat was their fourth worst by margin of runs in One-day internationals.
  • 444-3 : England registered the record-breaking highest score ever in One-day international cricket history, surpassing the Sri Lanka's 443-9 against Netherlands at Amstelveen in 2006.
  • Alex Hales plundered 171 - the highest score for England in One-day international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of unbeaten 167 held by Robin Smith against Australia at Birmingham in 1993.
  • England smashed a 16-sixes was their most sixes in an innings in One-day internationals, surpassed their 15-sixes against South Africa earlier this year (while making 399 at Bloemfontein).
  • 248 : Alex Hales and Joe Root set up the record second-wicket partnership for England against Pakistan in One-day international, previously held by the 146-run stand between Andrew Strauss and Jonathan Trott at Leeds in 2010, It is the ninth highest second-wicket stand in ODIs, It is the England's second highest second-wicket partnership in ODIs and England's third highest any-wicket stand in ODIs.
  • 161* : Jos Buttler and Eoin Morgan set up the second highest fourth-wicket partnership for England against Pakistan in One-day international and England's fourth highest fourth-wicket stand in ODIs.
  • Jos Buttler hammered a 22-ball fastest fifty for England in One-day international cricket history.
  • Mohammad Amir equalled a 22-ball joint tenth fastest fifty for Pakistan in One-day internationals, jointly with Abdul Razzaq and Shahid Afridi.
  • Mohammad Amir's 58 was the highest-score by a No. 11 batsman in One-day international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 43 held by their country man Shoaib Akhtar against same opponent at Capetown in the 2003 World Cup.
  • Mohammad Amir became the first No.11 batsman to score a fifty in One-day international cricket history. 

England scored a world record-breaking total of 444-3 in 50 overs with top scorer by Alex Hales 171 - which was his 4th ODI hundred and his second century against Pakistan in ODIs.

Jos Buttler blasted a unbeaten 90-runs off 51-balls including 7-sixes & 7-fours with strike rate of 176.47.

Joe Root scored 85 off 86-balls included eight boundaries and Eoin Morgan hammered a unbeaten 57 off 27-balls with 3-fours & 5-sixes with strike-rate of 211.11 and Jason Roy 15.

Pakistan best bowler by Hasan Ali took 2-wickets and one for Mohammad Nawaz.

Pakistan scored 275 for all-out in 42.4 overs with top scorer by Sharjeel Khan blasted a 58 off 30-balls including 12-fours and a six with strike rate of 193.33.

Mohammad Amir hammered a 58 off 28-balls including 5-sixes & 5-fours with strike rate of 207.14.

Sarfraz Ahmed scored 38 off 43-balls including 5-fours, Mohammad Nawaz hit 34 36-balls included 2-fours and Yasir Shah 26 not out.

England best bowler by Chris Woakes claimed four-wicket haul for 41-runs in 5.4 overs, Adil Rashid takes 2-wickets, Ben Stokes, Moeen Ali and Mark Wood each took one-wickets.

Alex Hales named Player of the match for his sensational batting performance to smashed a career-best 171-runs knocked off facing 122-balls including 22-fours and 4-sixes with strike rate of 140.16.
