Mashrafe Mortaza's magnificent all-round display, Mahmudullah's half-century and Taskin Ahmed's three-for helped to Bangladesh's record 34-run victory over England and level the series with 1-1 in the second ODI.

  • Bangladesh's 34-run win was their largest victory by terms of runs against England in One-day internationals, previously 15-run victory at Adelaide in the 2015 World Cup.
  • Bangladesh's 238 was their sixth highest score against England in One-day internationals.
  • England's 204 was their lowest score against Bangladesh in One-day internationals, previous lowest was 225 at Chittagong in 2011.
  • 69 : Nasir Hossain and Mashrafe Mortaza set up the record eighth-wicket partnership for Bangladesh against England in One-day international, previously held by the 56-run stand between Mahmudullah and Abdur Razzak at Birmingham in 2010 and Bangladesh's second highest eighth-wicket stand in ODIs.

Bangladesh scored 238-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Mahmudullah struck 75 off 88-balls including six boundaries, Mashrafe Mortaza 44, Mosaddek Hossain hit 29 off 49-balls included 4-fours, Nasir Hossain 27 and Mushfiqur Rahim 21.

England best bowler by Chris Woakes, Jake Ball, Adil Rashid each took 2-wickets and one for Ben Stokes.

England scored 204 for all-out in 44.4 overs with top scorer by Jos Buttler cracked a run-a-ball 57-runs including seven boundaries, Jonny Bairstow hit 35 off 53-balls included a boundary.

Adil Rashid scored a unbeaten 33 off 44-balls including one-six & a four and Jake Ball blasted a 28 off 22-balls included 5-fours.

Bangladesh best bolwer by Mashrafe Mortaza 4-29, Taskin Ahmed picked up 3-wickets and one for Mosaddek Hossain and Nasir Hossain.

Mashrafe Mortaza named Player of the match for his all-round performance to claimed a 4-wicket haul for 29-runs in 8.4 overs after scoring a quick-fire 44 off 29-balls including 3-sixes and 2-fours with strike rate of 151.72.
