Debutant Mustafizur Rahman's debut five-wicket haul helped to Bangladesh thumping 79-run victory over India and wrap up 1-0 lead in the first ODI.

* 19-year-old Mustafizur Rahman become the second Bangladeshi bowler after Taskin Ahmed to claimed a five-wicket haul on debut match in ODI's.

* 307 : This was highest score for Bangladesh against India in ODI's.

* On the 10th anniversary of their famous victory over Australia at Cardiff in 18th June 2005,  Bangladesh thumped a full-strength Indian team in front of a raucous Mirpur crowd.


* Virat Kohli is keeping in the 44th over of the Bangladesh’s innings, MS Dhoni had to go to the washroom, and Dhoni asked Virat Kohli to keep wicket-keeping. Dhoni returned in the 45th over, and Kohli returned to his usual his fielding position.


Bangladesh scored massive total of 307 for all-out in 49.4 overs with top scorer by Tamim Iqbal struck 60 off 62-balls including 7-fours and a six.

Soumya Sarkar scored 54 off 40-balls included eight-fours and a six, Shakib Al Hasan scored 52 with three boundaries, Sabbir Rahman 41 and Nasir Hossain 34.

India best bowler by Ravichandran Ashwin picked up 3-wickets for 51-runs in 10 overs, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Umesh Yadav each took two-wickets and one for Ravindra Jadeja and Mohit Sharma.

India scored 228 for all-out in 48 overs with top scorer by Rohit Sharma struck 63 off 68-balls including four-fours and a six, Suresh Raina scored a run-a-ball 40-runs included one-four and two-sixes, Ravindra Jadeja 32, Shikhar Dhawan 30 and Bhuvneshwar Kumar 25 not out.

Bangladesh best bowler by Mustafizur Rahman 5-50, Taskin Ahmed, Shakib Al Hasan each picked up two-wickets and one for Mashrafe Mortaza.

Mustafizur Rahman named Player of the match for his match-winning bowling figure of 5 for 50 from his 9.2 overs.
