Martin Guptill's masterclass century and Half-centuries from Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor before Matt Henry's five-for helped to New Zealand crushing 36-run victory over Sri Lanka, despite a fighting knock from Angelo Mathews' 95 and clinch the five-match series with 3-1 in the fifth ODI.

Matt Henry's 5 for 40 was his second best bowling figure for New Zealand in One-day Internationals and the third best bowling figures by an New Zealand bowler against Sri Lanka in ODIs. Matt Henry became the third New Zealand bowler to claimed a five-wicket haul against Sri Lanka in One-day internationals after Richard Hadlee and Danny Morrison. It is the second time Angelo Mathews dismissals on nervous nineties in One-day internationals and the seventh most nineties dismissals by an Sri Lankan batsman in ODIs. 122 : Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson set up the fourth highest second-wicket partnership for New Zealand against Sri Lanka in One-day internationals. New Zealand's 294 was their sixth highest score against Sri Lanka in One-day internationals. Sri Lanka's 258 was their eighth highest score against New Zealand in New Zealand soil in One-day internationals.

New Zealand scored 294 for 5 in 50 overs with top scorer by Martin Guptill 102 off 109-balls - which was his 10th ODI hundred and his first century against Sri Lanka in ODIs - including 9-fours & 3-sixes.

Ross Taylor struck 61 off 67-balls including 4-fours & a six, Kane Williamson cracked a 61 off 72-balls including 7-fours.

Luke Ronchi scored a unbeaten 37 off 31-balls including 3-fours and Mitchell Santner 21 not out.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Nuwan Kulasekara picked up 3-wickets and one for Tillakaratne Dilshan - Nuwan Pradeep.

Sri Lanka scored 258 for all-out in 47.1 overs with top scorer by Angelo Mathews 95 off 116-balls - who fell five-run short of his century - including six boundaries.

Dinesh Chandimal struck 50 off 65-balls including 4-fours & a six, Milinda Siriwardana blasted a 39 off 22-balls included 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 177.27, Danushka Gunathilaka 15 and Thisara Perera 15.

New Zealand best bowler by Matt Henry 5-40, Trent Boult picked up 3-wickets and one for Adam Milne - Mitchell Santner.

Matt Henry named Player of the match for his pace bowling attack to claimed a 5-wicket haul for 40-runs in 10-overs including a maiden.
