Quinton de Kock slammed 178 - the second-highest score for South African in One-day international after Gark Kirsten's unbeaten 188 and the highest-score by an South African batsman against Australia in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 175 held by Herschelle Gibbs at Johannesburg in 2006. 11 : Quinton de Kock equalled a joint second most sixes hit for South Africa in an innings in One-day international, jointly with AB de Villiers and the most sixes hit by an South African batsman against Australia in an innings in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 7-sixes by Herschelle Gibbs at Johannesburg in 2006. 11 : Quinton de Kock hit the sixth most centuries for South Africa in One-day internationals. 79 : George Bailey and John Hastings set up the second highest seventh-wicket partnership for Australia against South Africa in One-day internationals. 145 : Quinton de Kock and Rilee Rossouw set up the second highest first-wicket partnership for South Africa against Australia in One-day internationals. Australia scored 294-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by George Bailey struck 74 off 90-balls including 7-fours and 2-sixes.

John Hastings scored 51 off 56-balls include six-fours and two-sixes, David Warner cracked a 40 off 36-balls included 5-fours & a six with strike rate of 111.11.

Aaron Finch scored 33 off 28-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 117.85 and Mitchell Marsh hit 31 off 25-balls included 5-fours & a six with strike-rate of 124.

South Africa best bowler by Andile Phehlukwayo claimed four-wicket haul for 44-runs in 10 overs, Dale Steyn took two-wickets and one for Imran Tahir - Wayne Parnell.

South Africa chased 295-4 in 36.2 overs with top scorer by Quinton de Kock 178 - which was his 11th ODI hundred and his second century against Australia in ODIs.

Rilee Rossouw blasted a 63-runs off 45-balls including 10-fours and a six with strike rate of 140 and Faf du Plessis 26.

Australia best bowler by Scott Boland picked up 3-wickets and Adam Zampa took one-wicket.

Quinton de Kock named player of the match for his match-winning record-breaking career-best quick-fire 178-runs knocked off facing 113-balls including 16-fours and 11-sixes with strike rate of 157.52.
