South African captain AB de Villiers smashed a record-breaking career-best sparkling 149-runs knocked off facing just 44-balls including 16-sixes and 9-fours with strike rate of 338.64 helped to South Africa set the mammoth total of 439 against West Indies in the second ODI.

* AB de Villiers hammered a 31-ball fastest century ever in One-day international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 36-ball hundred held by Corey Anderson against same opponent at Queenstown in the last year.

* 16 : AB de Villiers equalled a joint most sixes hit in an innings in One-day internationals, jointly with Rohit Sharma.

AB de Villiers who hammered his 19th one-day International century and his fastest 100 came from 31-balls.
