  • India's 111-ball spare was their third largest victory by terms of balls remaining against England in One-day internationals.
  • This is the third time India have whitewashed their oppositions in a bilateral three-match series in One-day international and their first against England in ODIs.
  • This is the fifth time England have suffered a clean sweep in a bilateral three-match series in One-day internationals.
  • England's 206 was their fifth lowest score against India in the completed innings at their home venue in One-day internationals.
  • India chased 207 was their seventh lowest successful run-chase against England in One-day internationals.
  • 183 : Ajinkya Rahane and Shikhar Dhawan set up the third highest first-wicket partnership for India against England in One-day international and India's ninth highest third-wicket stand in ODIs.

England scored 206 for all-out in 49.3 overs with top scorer by Moeen Ali struck 67 off 50-balls including four-fours & 3-sixes.

Joe Root scored 44 off consuming 81 deliveries including two boundaries and Eoin Morgan hit 32 off 58-balls included 3-fours. 

India best bowler by Mohammed Shami picked up 3-wickets, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ravindra Jadeja both took 2-wickets and one for Suresh Raina - Ravichandran Ashwin.

India chased 212-1 in 30.3 overs with top scorer by Ajinkya Rahane 106 - which was his 1st ODI hundred and Shikhar Dhawan hammered a unbeaten 97 off 81-balls including 11-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 119.75.

England best bowler by Harry Gurney took one-wicket for 51-runs in 6.3 overs.

Ajinkya Rahane named player of the match for his match-winning 106-runs knocked off facing 100-balls including 10-fours and 4-sixes.
