This is the 16th time Australia have whitewashed their oppositions in a bilateral three-match series in Test matches and their second against New Zealand in Tests. This is the eighth time New Zealand have suffered a clean sweep in a bilateral three-match series in Test matches. 5 : David Warner equalled a joint most centuries hit by an Australian batsman against New Zealand in Test matches and the joint fourth most centuries hit by any batsman against New Zealand in Tests, jointly with Allan Border (AUS) and Shoaib Mohammad (PAK). Nathan Lyon's 5 for 50 was his 18th 5-wicket haul or more wickets for Australia in Test matches and the fifth most 5-wicket haul or more wickets for Australia in Tests

Marnus Labuschagne took full advantage of a depleted New Zealand side on the opening day of the third Domain Test at the SCG, with the Queenslander posting his fourth century of the Test summer.

Nathan Lyon has put Australia on track to finish off their perfect summer, going to stumps on day three of the third Domain Test at 0-40 and leading New Zealand by 243 runs.

David Warner's record-equal century and Nathan Lyon completed a 10-wicket haul as Australia thrashed New Zealand on day four of the third Test match.
