Mitchell Johnson's early two-wickets and Nathan Coulter-Nile's four-for after half-century from George Bailey helped to Australia crushing 32-run victory over South Africa, despite a AB de Villiers - David Miller's counter-attack and take a 1-0 lead in the first ODI.

* Australia's 300 was their seventh highest score against South Africa in One-day internationals.

* 92 : George Bailey and Matthew Wade set up the third highest sixth-wicket partnership for Australia against South Africa in One-day internationals.

* 126 : AB de Villiers and David Miller set up the second highest fifth-wicket partnership for South Africa against Australia in One-day international and South Africa's eighth highest fifth-wicket stand in ODIs.

Australia scored run-a-ball 300 in 50 overs with top scorer by George Bailey struck 70 off 75-balls including 3-fours and 3-sixes,.

David Warner cracked a 46 off 49-balls including a boundary and 3-sixes, Aaron Finch hit 35 off 40-balls including 4-fours & a six.

Matthew Wade scored 35 off 40-balls including 2-fours and Glenn Maxwell blasted a 29 off 19-balls included 5-fours with strike rate of 152.63.

South Africa best bowler by Vernon Philander claimed a 4-wicket haul for 45-runs in 10-overs, Dale Steyn took 2-wickets and one for Imran Tahir - Morne Morkel.

South Africa scored 268 for all-out in 48.1 overs with top scorer by AB de Villiers struck 80 off 76-balls including 4-fours and a six.

David Miller scored a run-a-ball 65 including 5-fours and a six, Faf du Plessis hit 31 off 43-balls included 2-fours & a six.

Morne Morkel scored a unbeaten 22 off 21-balls including 3-fours, Imran Tahir cracked a run-a-ball 22-runs included 4-fours and Farhaan Behardien 20.

Australia best bowler by Nathan Coulter-Nile 4-48, Mitchell Johnson took 2-wickets, Shane Watson, Glenn Maxwell and Josh Hazlewood each took one-wickets.

Nathan Coulter-Nile named Player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance to claimed a career-best 4-wickets for 48-runs in 10-overs.
