Evin Lewis' unbeaten 99 after Alzarri Joseph's four-for helped to West Indies convincing five-wicket victory over Ireland and take a 1-0 lead in a low-scoring game of the first ODI.

West Indies chased 184 was their second lowest successful run-chase against Ireland in One-day internationals. Evin Lewis became the fourth West Indies batsman to remain not out on 99 in One-day international after Richie Richardson, Ramnaresh Sarwan and Jason Holder and overall the 15th player in ODIs. Ireland's 180 was their lowest score against West Indies in One-day internationals, previous lowest was 183 at Kingston in the 2007 World Cup.

Ireland scored 180 for all-out in 46.1 overs with top scorer by Lorcan Tucker struck 31 off 68 deliveries including two boundaries, Mark Adair 29, Gareth Delany 19 and Andy Balbirnie 16.

West Indies best bowler Alzarri Joseph claimed four-wicket haul for 32-runs, Hayden Walsh, Sheldon Cottrell each took 2-wickets and one for Keemo Paul - Roston Chase.

West Indies chased 184-5 in 33.2 overs with top scorer by Evin Lewis cracked a run-a-ball unbeaten 99-runs including 13-fours & 2-sixes, Brandon King 20, Roston Chase 19 and Nicholas Pooran 17.

Ireland best bowler by Simi Singh takes 2-wickets, Boyd Rankin, Andy Balbirnie and Barry MacCarthy each took one-wickets.

Alzarri Joseph named Player of the match for his excellent bowling performance to claimed a 4-wickets for 32-runs in 10-overs.
