Ambati Rayudu's maiden ODI century, Shikhar Dhawan's 79 and Virat Kohli's 49 helped to India convincing six-wicket victory over Sri Lanka, despite a fighting knock from Angelo Mathews' 92* and wrap up 2-0 lead in the second ODI.

  • 122 : Shikhar Dhawan and Ambati Rayudu set up the tenth highest second-wicket partnership for India against Sri Lanka in One-day internationals.
  • 116 : Ambati Rayudu and Virat Kohli set up the tenth highest third-wicket partnership for India against Sri Lanka in One-day internationals.
  • 54* : Angelo Mathews and Dhammika Prasad set up the second highest ninth-wicket partnership for Sri Lanka against India in One-day internationals.

Sri Lanka scored 274-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Angelo Matthews cracked a unbeaten 92 off 101-balls including 10-fours and a six. 

Kumar Sangakkara struck 61 off 86-balls including four boundaries, Tillakaratne Dilshan scored 35 off 40-balls included 7-fours and Dhammika Prasad scored a unbeaten 30 off 28-balls with 4-fours.

India best bowler by Axar Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Umesh Yadav each took 2-wickets and one for Ravindra Jadeja.

India chased 275-4 in 44.3 overs with top scorer by Ambati Rayudu 121 not out - which was his 1st ODI hundred. 

Shikhar Dhawan struck 79 off 80-balls including 7-fours & a six and Virat Kohli 49 off 44-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century included 2-sixes & 2-fours.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Seekkuge Prasanna picked up 3-wickets and one for Dhammika Prasad.

Ambati Rayudu named player of the match for his match-winning magnificent unbeaten 121-runs knocked off facing 118-balls including 10-fours and 4-sixes with strike rate of 102.54.
