England opener batsman Jason Roy smashed a record-breaking career-best 180-runs knocked off facing 151-balls including 16-fours and 5-sixes helped to England chase the 305 against Australia in the first ODI.
* Jason Roy plundered 180 - the highest score by an England batsman in One-day international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 171 held by Alex Hales against Pakistan at Nottingham in 2016 and the second highest-score by a batsman against Australia in ODIs.
* Jason Roy's 180 was the highest score by any batsman at Melbourne in One-day internationals, surpassing the previous record of 173 held by Mark Waugh against West Indies in 2001.
Jason Roy who blasted his 4th One-day international century - which was his first century against Australia in ODIs and his 100 came from 92-balls.
