Kumar Sangakkara's first Lord's hundred before Lasith Malinga holds nerve as Sri Lanka thrilling 7-run victory over England, despite a record-breaking maiden century from Jos Buttler and levelled the series with 2-2 in a high-scoring epic game of the fourth ODI.

  • Jos Buttler hammered a 61-ball fastest century by an England batsman in One-day international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 69-ball hundred held by Kevin Pietersen against South Africa at East London in 2005.
  • Jos Buttler's 121 was his highest score for England in One-day international and the joint third highest-score by an England batsman against Sri Lanka in ODIs, jointly with Marcus Trescothick.
  • Jos Buttler produced arguably England's greatest one-day innings - which was his first ODI hundred, the fastest for the England and the fastest at Lord's.

Sri Lanka scored a run-a-ball 300-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Kumar Sangakkara 112 off 104-balls - which was his 19th ODI hundred and his second century against England in ODIs - including 14-fours with strike rate of 107.69.

Tillakaratne Dilshan scored 71 off 109-balls including five boundaries, Angelo Mathews cracked a run-a-ball 30-runs included 4-fours, Kusal Perera 19 and Lahiru Thirimanne 16.

England best bowler by Harry Gurney claimed a career-best 4-wickets for 55-runs in 10-overs including two maidens, James Anderson, Chris Jordan both took 2-wickets and one for James Tredwell.

England scored 293-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Jos Buttler hammered a 121 off 74-balls - which was his maiden ODI hundred.

Ravi Bopara scored 51 off 47-balls including a boundary, Joe Root hit 43 off 68-balls included a four and Gary Ballance cracked a 42 off 69-balls with two boundaries.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Lasith Malinga picked up 3-wickets, Ajantha Mendis took 2-wickets and one for Angelo Mathews - Sachithra Senanayake.

Jos Buttler named Player of the match for his sensational batting performance to smashed a career-best brutal 121-runs knocked off facing 74-balls including 11-fours and 4-sixes with strike rate of 163.51.
