Angelo Mathews' 93, Mahela Jayawardene's half-century and All-round Thisara Perera's rapid fifty with three-wickets helped to Sri Lanka thumping 77-run victory over Pakistan and level the series 1-1 in the second ODI.

  • Sri Lanka's 77-run win was their joint ninth largest victory by terms of runs against Pakistan in One-day international and It is their biggest win against Pakistan at their home venue in ODIs, previous biggest win was 76 at Pallekele in 2012.
  • Sri Lanka's 310 was their fourth highest score against Pakistan in One-day international and It is their seventh highest total at their home venue in ODIs.
  • Pakistan's 233 was their ninth highest score against Sri Lanka in Sri Lankan soil in One-day internationals.
  • 122 : Mahela Jayawardene and Angelo Mathews set up the fourth highest fourth-wicket partnership for Sri Lanka against Pakistan in One-day internationals.
  • 87 : Angelo Mathews and Thisara Perera set up the second highest seventh-wicket partnership for Sri Lanka against Pakistan in One-day international and Sri Lanka's ninth highest seventh-wicket stand in ODIs.
  • Pakistan lost their last six wickets for just 41-runs - which was their eighth worst last six-wicket collapse against Sri Lanka in One-day international. They went from 192 for 4 to 233 for all out.
  • This is the first time Angelo Mathews dismissals on nervous nineties in One-day internationals.

Sri Lanka scored 310-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Angelo Mathews 93 off 115-balls - who fell seven-run short of his century - including 8-fours.

Mahela Jayawardene struck 67 off 74-balls including 8-fours, Thisara Perera 65 and Upul Tharanga hit 27 off 30-balls included 5-fours.

Pakistan best bowler by Wahab Riaz claimed a 4-wickets for 65-runs in 10-overs, Mohammad Hafeez picked up 3-wickets and one for Junaid Khan.

Pakistan scored 233 for all-out in 43.5 overs with top scorer by Mohammad Hafeez cracked 62 off 49-balls including 11-fours with strike rate of 126.53.

Ahmed Shehzad scored 56 off 80-balls included six-fours, Misbah-ul-Haq hit 36 off 51-balls including 3-fours and Fawad Alam cracked 30 off 40-balls with three-fours.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Thisara Perera 3-19, Seekkuge Prasanna, Rangana Herath, Lasith Malinga each took two-wickets and one for Tillakaratne Dilshan.

Thisara Perera named Player of the match for his all-round performance to picked up 3-wickets for 19-runs in 3-overs after a smashing a quick-fire 65-runs knocked off facing 36-balls including 5-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 180.55.
