Australia scored 255-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Steve Smith 101 - who struck his maiden ODI hundred, David Warner scored 43 off 63-balls including five boundaries, Brad Haddin 23 not out, Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Johnson both scored 21-runs.
Pakistan best bowler by Shahid Afridi picked up 3-wickets, Wahab Riaz took two-wickets, Fawad Alam, debutant Zulfiqar Babar and Mohammad Irfan each took one-wickets.
