Ross Taylor's classy century and Kane Williamson's masterclass 88 before Matt Henry's debut four-for helped to New Zealand thumping 87-run victory over India and clinch the five-match series with 4-0 series in the fifth ODI.

Match Stats : 
  • New Zealand's 87-run win was their fourth largest victory by terms of runs against India in One-day internationals.
  • 152 : Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor set up the third highest third-wicket partnership for New Zealand against India in One-day international and New Zealand's joint sixth highest third-wicket stand in ODIs, jointly 152-run stand held by between Craig Spearman and Roger Twose against Zimbabwe at Harare in 2000.

New Zealand scored massive total of 303-5 in 50 overs with top scorer by Ross Taylor 102 - which was his 10th ODI hundred and his second century against India in ODIs.

Kane Williamson struck 88 off 91-balls including 8-fours and a six, James Neesham Hammered a unbeaten 34 off 19-balls included 3-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 178.94, Brendon McCullum 23, Jesse Ryder 16 and Martin Guptill 16.

India best bowler by Varun Aaron took 2-wickets, Virat Kohli, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami each took one-wickets.

India scored 216 for all-out in 49.4 overs with top scorer by Virat Kohli struck 82 off 78-balls including 7-fours and 3-sixes.

MS Dhoni cracked a 47 off 72-balls including three boundaries, Ambati Rayudu and Bhuvneshwar Kumar each scored 20-runs.

New Zealand best bowler by Debutant Matt Henry - who claimed a 4-wickets for 38-runs in 10-overs on his debut ODI match - including a maiden, Kane Williamson, Kyle Mills both took 2-wickets and one for Nathan McCullum - James Neesham.

Ross Taylor named Player of the match for his masterclass 102-runs knocked off facing 106-balls including 10-fours and a six.
