Indian star batsman Virat Kohli scored a fighting 123-runs knocked off facing 111-balls including 11-fours and 2-sixes but failed to chase 24-run short of victory and managed the 268 for all-out in 48.4-overs, Reply of New Zealand's 292 in the first ODI.
Virat Kohli - who smashed his 18th one-day international century - which was his second century against New Zealand in ODIs and his 100 came from 93-balls.
