* Australia's 91-run win was their seventh largest victory by terms of runs against Zimbabwe in One-day international and It is their third biggest victory against Zimbabwe in World Cups.

* Australia extended their undefeated streak in World Cups to 30 matches. Their last defeat in World Cups came against Pakistan at Leeds in May 1999.

* Mitchell Johnson's 4 for 19 was his fourth best bowling performance for Australia in One-day international, It is the fourth best bowling figures by an Australian bowler against Zimbabwe in ODIs and the Australia's best figures against Zimbabwe in World Cups, surpassing the previous record of 4 for 34 held by Shane Warne at Nagpur in the 1996 World Cup.

* Ricky Ponting was run out for the 30th time in ODIs -  which is the second most run-out dismissals for Australia in One-day international after Mark Waugh's 32 run-out dismissals and the joint tenth in the list of most run-out dismissals in ODIs, jointly with Arjuna Ranatunga's 30 run-out dismissals.

Australia scored decent total of 262-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Shane Watson 79, Michael Clarke cracked a unbeaten 58 off 55-balls including 4-fours, Brad Haddin 29, Ricky Ponting 28 and Cameron White 22.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Chris Mpofu took 2-wickets, Graeme Cremer, Ray Price and Prosper Utseya each took one-wickets.

Zimbabwe scored 171 for all-out in 46.2 overs with top scorer by Graeme Cremer struck 37 off 51-balls including four boundaries, Sean Williams 28, Prosper Utseya 24 and Brendan Taylor 16

Australia best bowler by Mitchell Johnson claimed a 4-wickets for 19-runs in 9.2 overs, Jason Krejza, Shaun Tait both took 2-wickets and one for David Hussey - Brett Lee.

Shane Watson named Player of the match for his steady 79-runs knocked off facing 92-balls including 8-fours and a six.
