India were 267-2 to scored 296 all-out in 48.4 overs with top scorer by Sachin Tendulkar smashed a 111 off 101-balls - which was his 48th ODI hundred and his second century in the tournament including 8-fours and 3-sixes.
Virender Sehwag struck 73 off 66-balls including 12-fours and Gautam Gambhir cracked a 69 off 75-balls with seven boundaries.
South Africa best bowler by Dale Steyn 5-50, Robin Peterson takes two-wickets, Faf du Plessis, Jacques Kallis and Morne Morkel each took one-wickets.
South Africa chased 300-7 in 49.4 overs with top scorer by Jacques Kallis struck 69 off 88-balls including four boundaries, Hashim Amla cracked a 61 off 72-balls included five-fours.
AB de Villiers hammered a quick-fire 39-ball 52-runs including six-fours and a six, Faf du Plessis 25 not out, JP Duminy, Johan Botha both scored 23-runs and Robin Peterson smashed a flurry 7-ball 18-runs including 2-fours and a six with strike rate of 257.14.
India best bowler by Harbhajan Singh picked up 3-wickets, Munaf Patel took two-wickets and one for Zaheer Khan.
Dale Steyn named Player of the match for his stunning death bowling performance to claimed a career-best 5-wicket haul for 50-runs in 9.4 overs.
