Half-centuries from Cameron White, Ricky Ponting, All-round Shane Watson's 49 with three wickets, Doug Bollinger and Nathan Hauritz's combined 5-wickets helped to Australia crushing 24-run victory over India, despite a India's superb fielding effort and level the series with 2-2 in the fourth ODI.

  • Australia's 24-run win was their fifth smallest victory by terms of runs against India in Indian soil in One-day internationals.
  • India's 226 was their eighth lowest score in the completed innings against Australia at their home venue in One-day internationals.
  • Australia's 250 was their third lowest score at Mohali in One-day internationals.

Australia scored 196-4 to 250 for all-out in 49.2 overs with top scorer by Cameron White cracked a 62 off 71-balls including 3-fours & a six.

Ricky Ponting struck 52 off 59-balls including 5-fours & a six, Shane Watson 49 off 52-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century and Michael Hussey hit 40 off 41-balls included 2-fours & a six.

India best bowler by Ashish Kumar picked up 3-wickets for 37-runs in 4-overs, Harbhajan Singh took 2-wickets and one for Yuvraj Singh.

India scored 226 for all-out in 46.4 overs with top scorer by Sachin Tendulkar struck 40 off 68-balls including 6-fours

Harbhajan Singh blasted a 31 off 25-balls including 5-fours & a six with strike rate of 124, Virender Sehwag hammered a 30 off 19-balls included 7-fours with strike-rate of 157.89, MS Dhoni 26, Suresh Raina 17 and Praveen Kumar 16.

Australia best bowler by Shane Watson 3-29, Doug Bollinger picked up 3-wickets for 38-runs in 9-overs including two maidens and Nathan Hauritz took 2-wickets.

Shane Watson named Player of the match for his all-round performance to picked up 3-wickets for 29-runs in 7.4-overs and took two catches after scoring 49 off 52-balls including 6-fours.
