* Matthew Hayden hammered a record-breaking 66-ball fastest hundred in World Cups, broke the previous record by John Davison 66-ball century against West Indies at Centurion in 2003 tournament.
* Australia's 377 was third highest ever total in World Cups, 10th highest total in all ODIs and their second highest score in ODIs also both against South Africa.
Australia scored massive total of 377-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Matthew Hayden 101 - which was his 8th ODI hundred, Michael Clarke struck 92 off 95-balls - who fell eight-run short of his century including 7-fours and 4-sixes.
Ricky Ponting cracked a run-a-ball 91-runs - who fell nine-run short of his century included 8-fours and 2-sixes, Adam Gilchrist scored a run-a-ball 41-runs including six-fours & a six and Andrew Symonds 18.
South Africa best bowler by Andrew Hall takes two-wickets, Jacques Kallis, Makhaya Ntini and Charl Langeveldt each took one-wickets.
South Africa scored 294 for all-out in 48 overs with top scorer by AB de Villiers smashed a rapid 70-ball 92-runs - who fell eight-run short of his century - including 14-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 131.42, Graeme Smith struck 74 off 69-balls included 9-fours and 2-sixes.
Jacques Kallis cracked a 48 off 63-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century included five boundaries and Mark Boucher scored 22.
Australia best bowler by Brad Hogg picked up 3-wickets, Nathan Bracken, Shaun Tait both took two-wickets and one for Shane Watson - Glenn McGrath.
