  • India's 99-run win was their fourth largest victory by terms of runs against Australia in One-day internationals.
  • India's 354 was their ninth highest score in One-day international and It is their highest total against Australia in ODIs, previous highest was 315 at Bengaluru in 2001.

India scored record total of 354-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by MS Dhoni 124 - which was his 5th ODI hundred and his first century against Australia in ODIs.

Gautam Gambhir struck 76 off 80-balls including 6-fours, Suresh Raina cracked a 62 off 50-balls included six-fours and a six with strike rate of 124.

Virender Sehwag hammered a 40 off 31-balls including 6-fours and a six with strike rate of 129.03 and Yuvraj Singh 23.

Australia best bowler by Mitchell Johnson picked up 3-wickets and one for Peter Siddle and Ben Hilfenhaus.

Australia scored 255 for all-out in 48.3 overs with top scorer by Michael Hussey struck 53 off 60-balls including six-fours.

Adam Voges cracked a 36 off 44-balls including a boundary, Nathan Hauritz scored a unbeaten 30 off 32-balls included 3-fours, Cameron White 23, Mitchell Johnson 21, Shaun Marsh 21, Shane Watson 19 and Ben Hilfenhaus 16.

India best bowler by Ravindra Jadeja picked up 3-wickets for 35-runs in 6.3 overs, Ishanth Sharma, Praveen Kumar both took two-wickets and one for Harbhajan Singh.

MS Dhoni named player of the match for his magnificent batting display of scoring a record-breaking 124-runs knocked off facing 107-balls including 9-fours and 3-sixes.
