* Pakistan's 9-wicket win was their joint second largest victory by terms of wickets remaining in One-day international, it is their fifth time win by nine wickets, It is their 2nd time Pakistan had defeated UAE by nine wickets in ODIs and their first 9-wicket win in World Cups.

UAE scored 109-9 in 33-overs per each side due to heavy overnight rain had reduced the game from 50 to 33-overs per side with top scorer by Saleem Raza hit 22 off 20-balls including 2-fours & a six.

Shaukat Dukanwala scored a unbeaten 21 off 19-balls included one six and a boundary.

Pakistan best bowler by Mushtaq Ahmed 3-16, Aaqib Javed, Wasim Akram both took 2-wickets and one for Waqar Younis.

Pakistan chased 112-1 in 18-overs with top scorer by Ijaz Ahmed cracked a unbeaten 50 off 57-balls including 4-fours & a six.

Saeed Anwar scored a unbeaten 40 off 54-balls including 4-fours.

UAE best bowler by Johanne Samarasekara took one-wickets for 17-runs in 3-overs.

Mushtaq Ahmed named Player of the match for the chief destroyer with his 3-wickets for 16-runs in 7-overs.
