Sachin Tendulkar hammered a 81-ball fastest century by an Indian batsman against Australia in One-day internationals. Sachin Tendulkar's 175 was his second highest score for India in One-day international, it is the highest score by an Indian batsman against Australia in ODls and the joint highest scorer against Australia in ODIs, jointly with Herschelle Gibbs' 175 at Johannesburg in 2006. Sachin Tendulkar crossed the 17,000 runs in one day cricket, The first player to achieve this amazing feat in ODI Cricket History and 6000 ODI runs completed in Indian soil. 5 : Sachin Tendulkar hit the most centuries against Australia in One-day internationals, surpassing the previous record of 4 by West Indian Desmond Haynes. 145 : Shane Watson and Shane Watson set up the fifth highest first-wicket partnership for Australia against India in One-day internationals. 137 : Sachin Tendulkar and Suresh Raina set up the second highest fifth-wicket partnership for India against Australia in One-day internationals.

Australia scored mammoth total of 350-4 in 50 overs with top scorer by Shaun Marsh scored a run-a-ball 112-runs - which was his 1st ODI hundred - including 8-fours and 2-sixes.

Shane Watson 93 off 89-balls - who fell seven-run short of his century including 9-fours and 3-sixes with strike rate of 104.49, Cameron White hammered a 57 off 33-balls included 5-sixes & 2-fours with strike-rate of 172.72.

Ricky Ponting cracked a run-a-ball 45-runs including 3-fours & a six and Michael Hussey blasted a unbeaten 31 off 22-balls included 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 140.90.

India best bowler by Praveen Kumar took two-wickets and one for Harbhajan Singh - Ashish Nehra.

India scored 347 for all-out in 49.4 overs with top scorer by Sachin Tendulkar 175 - which was his 45th ODI hundred and his 17th ODI hundred in run-chasing.

Suresh Raina cracked a run-a-ball 59-runs including 3-sixes & 3-fours, Virender Sehwag struck 38 off 30-balls included 5-fours & a six with strike rate of 126.66 and Ravindra Jadeja 23.

Australia best bowler by Shane Watson picked up 3-wickets for 47-runs in 8.4-overs, debutant Clint McKay - who took 3-wickets on his debut ODI match, Ben Hilfenhaus and Doug Bollinger both took one-wickets.

Sachin Tendulkar named Player of the match for his fighting scintillating 175-runs knocked off facing 141-balls including 19-fours and 4-sixes with striking rate of 124.11.
