Sachin Tendulkar cracked a 40 off 41-balls included 5-fours & a six, Mohammad Azharuddin scored 31 and Ajay Jadeja 17.
New Zealand best bowler by Dion Nash claimed 4-wicket haul for 38-runs in 10-overs, Craig McMillan, Chris Harris and Chris Cairns each took one-wickets.
New Zealand scored 205 for all-out in 47.5 overs with top scorer by Stephen Fleming struck 75 off 97-balls including seven boundaries.
