  • Yuvraj Singh hammered a 12-ball fastest fifty ever in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 20-ball half-century held by Mohammad Ashraful against West Indies at Johannesburg in this tournament.
  • Yuvraj Singh became the first batsman to hit 6-sixes in an over in T20 international cricket history.
  • Yuvraj Singh became the second player to hit six sixes in an over in international cricket after Herschelle Gibbs' six-sixes against Netherlands at Basseterre in the 2007 World Cup.
  • Yuvraj Singh became the fastest Indian batsman to score 50 in T20 international cricket history.

England scored massive total of 200-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Vikram Solanki struck 43 off 31-balls including 5-fours and a six.

Kevin Pietersen blasted a 39 off 23-ball including 3-fours and a six with strike rate of 169.56.

Darren Maddy hit 29 off 20-balls including 3-fours and a six, Paul Collingwood struck 28 off 20-balls included 2-fours and a six, Owais Shah 21 and Luke Wright 16.

India best bowler by Irfan Pathan picked up 3-wickets, RP Singh took 2-wickets and one for Harbhajan Singh.

Yuvraj Singh named Player of the match for his sensational power-hitting batting performance to smashed a rapid 58-runs knocked off facing 16-balls including 7-sixes and 3-fours with strike rate of 362.50.
