Paul Collingwood's classy 90 and Andrew Flintoff's all-round display gives England comprehensive 48-run victory over Ireland in the 28th match of a Cricket World Cup.
England scored decent total of 266-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Paul Collingwood 90 - who fell ten-run short of his century.
Kevin Pietersen struck 48 off 47-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century included five boundaries, Andrew Flintoff cracked a 43 off 62-balls including 4-fours, Ian Bell scored 31 and Paul Nixon 19.
Ireland best bowler by Boyd Rankin takes two-wickets, Kevin O'Brien, Kyle McCallan, Andrew Botha and Trent Johnston.
Ireland scored 218 for all-out in 48.1 overs with top scorer by Niall O'Brien struck 63 off 88-balls including four-fours, Andrew White cracked a 38 off 35-balls included 4-fours, William Porterfield scored 31, Trent Johnston 27 and Andrew Botha 18.
England best bowler by Andrew Flintoff claimed 4-wicket haul for 43-runs in 8.1 overs, Monty Panesar takes two-wickets, Michael Vaughan, James Anderson and Paul Collingwood each took one-wickets.
Paul Collingwood named Player of the match for his spectacular batting display of scoring 90-runs knocked off facing 82-balls including 8-fours and 3-sixes.
