India beat Pakistan 3-0 in a bowl-out after Sreesanth holds nerve as match-tied in a high-voltage game of the tenth match of a World Twenty20.

  • This is the MS Dhoni's first international match win as captain, Dhoni captained India for the first time in his 2nd match. He became the second player to captain for India in a T20Is after Virender Sehwag.
  • Mohammad Asif 4 for 18 was the best bowling figures for Pakistan in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 4 for 19 held by Shahid Afridi against Scotland in this tournament, It is the second best bowling figures in T20Is and the also the second best figures in World Twenty20 after Mark Gillespie's 4 for 7.
  • This is the second Twenty20 international match to end in a tie and the first in World Twenty20 games.
  • India's 141 was their highest score ever in T20 international, previous highest total was 127 against South Africa at Johannesburg in the last year.
  • Pakistan's 141 was their fourth highest score in T20 internationals.
  • Robin Uthappa became the first Indian batsman to score a fifty in T20 international cricket history.
  • Misbah-ul-Haq became the first to Pakistan batsman to score a fifty in T20 international cricket history.

India scored 141-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Robin Uthappa struck 50 off 39-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes.

MS Dhoni cracked a 33 off 31-balls included 3-fours & a six and Irfan Pathan 20

Pakistan best bowler by Mohammad Asif 4-18, Shahid Afridi took 2-wickets and one for Sohail Tanvir - Yasir Arafat.

Pakistan scored 141-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Misbah-ul-Haq struck 53 off 35-balls including 7-fours and a six with strike rate of 151.42, Shoaib Malik 20, Salman Butt 17 and Kamran Akmal 15.

India best bowler by Irfan Pathan takes two-wickets, RP Singh, Harbhajan Singh and Ajit Agarkar each took one-wickets.

Mohammad Asif named Player of the match for his record-breaking splendid pace attack to claimed a career-best 4-wicket haul for 18-runs in 4-overs to rattled the Indian top-order.
