  • Kane Williamson's 145* was the joint sixth highest score for New Zealand in One-day international, jointly with Nathan Astle and the highest-score by an New Zealand batsman against South Africa in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of unbeaten 134 held by Stephen Fleming at Johannesburg in the 2003 World Cup.

New Zealand scored 279-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Kane Williamson 145 not out - which was his 3rd ODI hundred & his first century against South Africa in ODIs.

Grant Elliott 48 off 63-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century - including five boundaries, Nathan McCullum 19, Brendon McCullum 17 and Kyle Mills 15 not out.

South Africa best bowler by Morne Morkel picked up 3-wickets, Lonwabo Tsotsobe and Rory Kleinveldt each took two-wickets.

South Africa scored 252 for all-out in 49.1 overs with top scorer by Colin Ingram struck 79 off 94-balls including 10-fours.

Graeme Smith cracked a 66 off 75-balls including 8-fours, Farhaan Behardien scored 31 off 40-balls included one-six & a four, Quinton de Kock 25 and Morne Morkel 19 not out.

New Zealand best bowler by Kyle Mills takes 2-wickets, James Neesham, James Franklin and Nathan McCullum each took one-wickets.

Kane Williamson named player of the match for record-breaking batting performance to smashed a career-best unbeaten 145-runs knocked off facing 136-balls including 17-fours and a six with strike rate of 106.61.
