Ricky Ponting struck 66 off 70-balls including seven boundaries, Shane Watson cracked a unbeaten 65 off 32-balls including 4-sixes and 4-fours with strike rate of 203.12, Michael Clarke 49 off 46-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century included 7-fours and Michael Hussey scored 37.
New Zealand best bowler by James Franklin picked up 3-wickets, Jeetan Patel took two-wickets and one for Scott Styris.
New Zealand scored 133 for all-out in 25.5 overs with top scorer by Peter Fulton struck 62 off 72-balls including five boundaries and Scott Styris cracked a 27 off 22-balls included five-fours.
