Sri Lanka scored 226 for all-out in 49.4 overs with top scorer by Mahela Jayawardene struck 72 off 88-balls including 5-fours and a six, Chamara Silva cracked a 64 off 107-balls included six-fours, Farveez Maharoof scored 25 off 22-balls with four boundaries and Malinga Bandara 17.
Australia best bowler by Nathan Bracken claims 4-19, Brad Hogg, Glenn McGrath and Shaun Tait each took two-wickets.
Australia chased 232-3 in 42.4 overs with top scorer by Ricky Ponting smashed a unbeaten 66 off 80-balls including 6-fours & a six, Andrew Symonds cracked a 63 not out off 71-balls included 5-fours and 2-sixes.
Matthew Hayden struck 41 off 30-balls including five-fours and two-sixes, Adam Gilchrist scored a 30 off 49-balls included four boundaries and Michael Clarke 23.
Sri Lanka best bowler by Russel Arnold took two-wickets and one for Malinga Bandara.
Nathan Bracken named Player of the match for his pace bowling attack to claimed 4-wicket haul for 19-runs in 9.4 overs.
