New Zealand scored 266-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Adam Parore struck 82 off 102-balls including five boundaries, Shane Thomson cracked a 62 off 89-balls included 3-fours.

Bryan Young scored 36 off 35-balls including six-fours, Chris Harris cracked a unbeaten 34 off 27-balls included 3-fours and Gavin Larsen 18 not out.

Pakistan best bowler by Wasim Akram, Saleem Malik both took two-wickets and one for Aamer Sohail - Ata-ur-Rehman.
