A fine all-round display from Craig McMillan's three-wickets and a unbeaten 38 helped to New Zealand crushing five-wicket victory over South Africa and storm into semi-final in the World Cup Super Eights.
South Africa scored modest total of 193-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Herschelle Gibbs struck 60 off 100-balls including 2-fours and a six, Ashwell Prince cracked a 37 off 57-balls included two boundaries.
Jacques Kallis scored 22 off consuming 54 deliveries with one-four and a six, Shaun Pollock 21 not out, Andre Nel 17 and Mark Boucher 16.
New Zealand best bowler by Craig McMillan picked up 3-wickets, Shane Bond took two-wickets and one for James Franklin - Daniel Vettori.
New Zealand chased 196-5 in 48.2 overs with top scorer by Scott Styris struck 56 off 84-balls including four boundaries, Stephen Fleming cracked a 50 off 84-balls included six-fours, Craig McMillan 38 not out and Peter Fulton 16.
South Africa best bowler by Andre Nel takes two-wickets, Shaun Pollock, Robin Peterson and Makhaya Ntini each took one-wickets.
Craig McMillan named Player of the match for his match-winning all-round performance to scored a unbeaten 38-runs off 55-balls including 2-fours & a six and his excellent bowling to picking up 3-wickets for 23-runs in 5-overs.
