Sri Lanka scored 239-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Marvan Atapattu 77 not out, Upul Chandana struck 64 off 58-balls including nine boundaries, Russel Arnold cracked a 41 off 77-balls included two-fours and Sanath Jayasuriya scored 23 off 24-balls with four-fours.
Pakistan best bowler by Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis both took two-wickets and one for Shahid Afridi - Shoaib Akhtar.
Pakistan scored 230-5 in 50 overs with top scorer by Younis Khan struck 45 off 55-balls including 3-fours and two-sixes, Mohammad Yousuf cracked a 38 off consuming 64 deliveries included 3-fours, Inzamam-ul-Haq scored 37 off consumed 62-balls with 2-fours and a six.
Imran Nazir scored 34 off consuming 70-balls including four-fours and Wasim Akram cracked a unbeaten 36 off 29-balls included 4-fours and a six with strike rate of 124.31.
Sri Lanka best bowler by Nuwan Zoysa, Charitha Buddhika and Upul Chandana each took one-wickets.
Marvan Atapattu named Player of the match for his spectacular batting display of scoring a unbeaten 77 off 109-balls including five boundaries.
