A superb unbeaten half-century from Shahid Afridi after Three-wicket haul from Abdul Razzaq guided Pakistan emphatic eight-wicket victory over Sri Lanka and clinch the their first ICC World T20 title in the final of a World Twenty20.
Sri Lanka scored 138-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Kumar Sangakkara cracked a unbeaten 64 off 52-balls Including seven-fours with strike rate of 123.07.
Angelo Mathews blasted a unbeaten 35 off 24-balls included 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 145.83 and Sanath Jayasuriya struck 17 off 10-balls with 2-fours & a six with strike-rate of 170.
Pakistan best bowler by Abdul Razzaq picked up 3-wickets 20-runs in 3-overs, Shahid Afridi, Umar Gul and Mohammad Amir each took one-wickets.
Pakistan chased 139-2 in 18.4 overs with top scorer by Shahid Afridi 54 not out, Kamran Akmal cracked a 37 off 28-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 132.14, Shoaib Malik 24 not out and Shahzaib Hasan 19.
Sri Lanka best bowler by Sanath Jayasuriya and Muttiah Muralitharan both took one-wickets.
